You can feel your inner world intensifying, even before anything in your outer world reflects it. As Pluto stations to reverse directions on Wednesday, May 6, there is a holding pattern—as if life itself is giving space for something deeper to take place. It is Pluto’s yearly retrograde that will extend for five months until Oct. 15, but fear not about hearing the ‘r’ word, Pluto retrograde can feel a bit like taking the evolutionary pot off the burner. This is not the time to force movement. This is the time to listen. Then, almost all at once, the energy within you begins to move.

A New Moon in Taurus on Saturday, May 16, brings you back into your body, asking you to ground into what is real, what is stable, what can truly support you moving forward. It shifts your focus toward what holds value—not just materially, but energetically. New earning opportunities may also begin to flourish. Mercury moves into Gemini and joins Uranus the following day, Sunday, May 17, bringing sudden conversations, realizations, and new perspectives for your future, opening pathways that were not visible before. On Monday, May 18 your ruler Mars exits your sign, entering Taurus, and with it, the urgency that has been driving you begins to back off. You are no longer being asked to push forward at full speed, but to move with intention, to choose your direction with conscious commitment. At the same time, Venus enters Cancer, drawing your attention toward what feels like home.
